For some five years or so, Tshombe Sekou has been injecting potent “verse” of himself here, there and worldwide it seems. Hailing from New Orleans, Louisiana, he spent a good part of his childhood in Israel and now resides in Japan. His works possess elements, which disrupt the ambiguities between messenger and listener, thus unifying the two as entities who provide the foundation for what we know as art or (in this case) Poetry.
“It is truly the listener who defines and creates the imagery for what is known as poetry…” -Tshombe Sekou
